Im in the newborn trenches now and she's soooo cute but also very difficult to figure out how to make her happy! Im excited to see her grow - hopefully i can flourish in motherhood soon 😅 i love seeing how happy and independent alice is!!!

I borrowed that cookbook from the library and am making the week 1 meals this week! I prepped yesterday and it wasnt too bad, but definitely takes up a ton of room in the fridge. Cant wait to try some new meals! My kids also love the poke a dot books, even still at 9, 5, and 2 they argue over who gets to poke the dots. Haha

So sad tomorrow is the last day of the daily vlogs. I may watch them all again. LOL. I love that your summer is going well. I also want to start on a diet plan but keto is so rough on my colon.

After all these years my husband has actually stopped using the flavored coffee creamers with no pressure from me.😅 I think you'd like to read this book I'm reading called Why We Get Sick by Dr. Benjamin Bikman. I forget the subtitle but it's very good at explaining why keto and carnivore and Animal based diets are good for us (insulin.... it's the major driver for most chronic illnesses and insulin resistance can be chronic as well as thyroid issues) in very easy to understand language backed by the studies he used for his research (the names of the studies so readers can look them up if they want). He's coming out with a second book to go along with it this fall that will get deeper into implementation with some recipe ideas.

I was starting to get excited knowing you would have vlogs coming up with some keto inspiration and then remembered you’re only doing daily vlogs through June and got sad 😩 I have really enjoyed these vlogs this year and love seeing how your little family has grown. I was sad seeing your vacation end. Loved watching your time at the beach. Gosh, I remember when it was just you and Alvin going and now to see Alice. We look forward to these vlogs every year. my husband was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. He grew up in Kill Devil Hills. All of his family is in North Carolina and South Carolina. I am a California native, but if we could go back and do it all over again, I would’ve loved raising our children in North Carolina. So It bought back a lot of memories for him.

Another fun beach day and Alice being so cute. Older people definitely need babies in their life even if it's on RUclips. They just bring so much joy to our lives. We just had our first grandchild June 15 and I couldn't be happier.

The place you are staying is such a great location for a family with young children. They can nap or go to bed early while you can sit on the front porch and have that ocean view or go for a walk on the beach. So nice!

Now was it necessary to tempt me with those delicious looking burgers….lol 😂😂😂😂. Alice seems like a healthy eater and not too finicky which is great. My children at her age were the worst finicky eaters. I didn’t care for the Crumbl cookies that much. I, too felt a lot of the cookies were just too sweet.
